Easter Egg Hunt Techniques

Happy Easter! It's Saturday before Easter and we wanted to have our Easter Egg Hunt outside even though is was a little cold.  It has snowed the last couple of days - thank goodness the ground has warmed up and the snow melts quickly.
Before we would let the kids outside we had to have a group hug and good feelings among everyone (ya know sibling love).
Then it's outside to search for the eggs.  Our neighbor dog started the search early.
You realize that there is strategy in finding eggs.  Ethan (see below) is demonstrating the "I'm cool (don't tell anyone I still love to hunt for easter eggs)! technique.

Rachel is demonstrating the "Make sure to look UP for the eggs" technique.
Brady realized that eggs can even be found at eye-level.
We also like the "strangle the egg on a rope" technique too.
This by far is one of my favorites - the "I'm gonna beat you" arm hold by Luke.
The next is the "Eggs may be hiding anywhere" search technique.
Luke is doing the double take "Did I miss any eggs over there" look.
We can't forget the "Have Dad help you find the last few!" technique.
Or the "Grandma will show me where to find one" technique.
And finally the "Let's all look together-help each other" technique to find the last ones cause you know if you don't then the neighbor dog will definitely find them.
As you can see, all techniques can be used at the same hunt.  Happy hunting, we sure had fun.
