One of my favorite pictures of me and my boy Brady.
We teased Dad and Pat that they needed to take their Christmas card photo with all of their grandkids since this was an amazing feat to get them all together. Brady wasn't too sure about the photo thing and Evelyn wasn't feeling great, but oh well. Rusty, their chocolate Lab, had to be in the photo too.
Pat surprised the three of us, Louise (my step sis), Chris and me with a birthday cake.

Looks like a cool place! Glad you're back in town. It was the right choice to bag our plans a couple of weeks ago! You would have regretted it. We'd still love to get together with you so how about late August? I realize that sounds like a joke...but it isn't! :)
What a fun BBQ and BD party. Long time (too long) since we had a chance to be all together to do something like this. Too bad Erik and Christy couldn't make it though. Would have completed the circle (and their lab, Lucy, gets along great with our lab, Rusty, too.)
